What record will the Steelers finish the 2026-27 Season with?

Week 1 vs Atlanta Falcons: I'm seeing a fast start this season for the Steelers. Atlanta will most likely be starting Tua at QB with the possibility of Penix jumping into action as needed. I don't expect Atlanta to come out firing on offense, but they will have the ability to run the ball. I'm taking Aaron Rodgers over Tua here and in a closer game the Steelers win 30-24. W

Week 2 @ New England Patriots: An early test presents itself. I usually love the Steelers response early in the season. The patriots may be out for blood with year with last years disappointing Super Bowl performance. I see this game being extremely close, but Drake Maye and newly acquired WR AJ Brown connect too many times. Steelers lose 24-14 L

Week 3 vs Cincinnati Bengals: We love some early season division matchups. I haven't seen enough change in the Bengals organization to protect Joe Burrow. T.J Watt is going to feast on a still inadequate Bengals offensive line. I have the Steelers winning vs the Bengals in 31-13 victory. W

Week 4 @ Cleveland Browns: From one division matchup to the next. Cleveland added some good pieces in the draft, but there perpetual search for consistency at QB remains a big issue. As long as the Steelers don't shoot themselves in the foot this should be an easy road trip. Steelers win 27-17 W

Week 5 vs Indianapolis Colts: This may be the last week the Colts start Riley Leonard at QB. The 2nd year option for the Colts struggles to find his footing on the road. The Steelers defense will feast on the inability of Leonard and Steelers win 27-10. W

Week 6 @ Tampa Bay Bucs: The weather will still be pretty nasty in Central Florida when the Steelers visit the Bucs. The Bucs added on defense in the draft to try and build a better secondary and pass rush. I see the Steelers dropping this game due to some Florida heat and mean pass rush from rookie Ruben Bain Jr. Steelers lose, but it's close 20-13. L

Week 7 vs New Orleans Saints: I like where the Saints are headed. They are a much better team than they get credit for, but with that being said there still a ways a way from being a punisher. I feel that Rodgers has one of his best games against a lack luster defense. Rodger throws for 4 TDs and the Steelers win 31-21. W

Week 8 vs Cleveland Browns: There is no team like a division rival that trips you up. Sometimes all it takes is a little luck and some balls to bounce your way. The Steelers trip and fumble this game to the Browns in front of the home crowd. Steelers lose 20-14. L

Week 9 Bye

Week 10 @ Cincinnati Bengals: There's nothing better than an exact midseason bye. The Steelers use the lose against the Browns to refire the engines and take the bye week to iron out some issues. The Steelers push the ball in Cinncy and Steelers win 24-17 W

Week 11 @ Philadelphia Eagles: The Steelers schedule ramps up starting with road test against the Eagles. I don't love this matchup coming off a tough division matchup. I have the Steelers losing 28-17. L

Week 12 vs Denver Broncos: This is where things get tricky. You have the Broncos coming to town with possibly a fully healed up Bo Nix. I am still unsure what his mobility will look like this season. The ankle did not look good this offseason, but if healthy with the addition of Jaylen Waddle and arguably the best defense in the NFL, I don't see the Steelers stealing this game.. Steelers lose 23-13 L

Week 13 vs Houston Texans: That Texans defense is one tough cookie, but sometimes a good defense can't bail out a struggling offense. I have the Steelers catching C.J Stroud in a slump game and winning a big game at home. Steelers win 17-13. W

Week 14 @ Jacksonville Jaguars: The Steelers head to Jacksonville in the thick of the playoffs with a 7-5 record. The test in Florida is always hard but December in Jacksonville means somewhat cooler temps. Jacksonville with be a threat in the AFC next year, but the Steelers now how important a road victory would be this late in the season. With the lights of Monday night football gleaming down and this possibly being Aaron Rodgers last Monday night game, I see the Steelers getting a huge win on the road. The Steelers win 28-24. W

Week 15 vs Baltimore Ravens: Nothing like saving the 2 last division games for the last 4 weeks with the same opponent. Of course the NFL is aware that Pittsburgh and Baltimore share the best chance of taking the AFC North Crown. I am still unsure what the Ravens will be next year. I wasn't really impressed with the coaching replacement for Harbaugh. I guess it doesn't matter much when you got Lamar Jackson on the other side, but that doesn't always get it done. I see the Steelers jumping to 9-5 with 3 games remaining in a tight AFC playoff race. Steelers win 20-17 W

Week 16 vs Carolina Panthers: The Steelers are on a roll! 3 straight wins against playoff caliber oppenets. With a 9-5 record the view at the playoffs is wide open and win here would get the Steelers in the playoffs. The problem is the Panthers are also trying to sneak in the playoffs again. I see a Carolina team with a desperate win needed to try and secure a playoff spot. This game goes back and forth, but the Panther edge out the Steelers. Steelers lose 27-24. L

Week 17 @ Tennessee Titans: I won't bother much with this one. Robert Salah will have this team looking better, but there is still a significant gap in player firepower. The Steelers walk all over the Titans. Steelers win 31-14. W

Week 18 @ Baltimore Ravens: HERE WE GO! 10-6 Steelers with a chance to win the divison. I also have the Ravens at the exact same record. The question is who wants it more. We all remember last years matchup for the divison title. This game can go either way. The fact that this game is on the road I will have to give a small advantage to the Ravens. Unfortunately, the Steelers come up just short and drop the division crown.

 Steelers lose 17-14. L

Finishing Record: 10-7 (Divison Record: 4-2)
